Text alerts: how opt-in works
Effective October 23, 2026 · Gulf Coast Systems Technology LLC · support@cintos.app
CINTOS is job-site software for commercial installation companies, provided by Gulf Coast Systems Technology LLC (“CINTOS”). Signed-in CINTOS users can choose to get job alert text messages about their own company’s work. Texts are transactional only — never marketing — and go only to people who added and confirmed their own mobile number.
1. Where people opt in
In CINTOS, each user opens Plan & account → Text alerts, enters their own mobile number, and taps Text me a code. This is what they see (the form is only available after signing in):
2. Confirming the number (double opt-in)
CINTOS texts a 6-digit code to that number. Texts start only after the user types the code back into CINTOS:
The number, the time it was confirmed and which alerts are on are recorded as the proof of consent.
3. What we send
Each user chooses which alerts they want (they can change this anytime):
- Critical issues — Work stopped or a safety problem on one of your jobs
- High-severity issues — Will stop work soon if nobody acts (off unless turned on)
- Damaged deliveries — Product received damaged at the warehouse
- Crew not clocked in — Morning check (about 8 AM): crew with a day link who haven’t clocked in
Examples (made-up job):
4. How often
Message frequency varies with the user’s jobs: at most 25 texts a day per person. Users can set quiet hours (critical safety issues still come through). Msg & data rates may apply.
5. Stopping and help
Reply STOP to any text to opt out right away, or turn texts off on the Plan & account page. Reply HELP for help, or email support@cintos.app. We never sell or share mobile numbers or text-message consent with anyone for their marketing — see our Privacy Policy and Terms.
